Certaines for\u00eats tropicales qui existent aujourd'hui sont plus anciennes encore. <a href=\"https:\/\/education.nationalgeographic.org\/resource\/rain-forest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">70 millions d'ann\u00e9es<\/a> vieillies ! Ces habitats uniques sont essentiels pour r\u00e9guler le climat et soutenir de nombreuses formes de vie.<\/p>\n<p>Les for\u00eats tropicales peuvent \u00eatre trouv\u00e9es sur tous les continents sauf l\u2019Antarctique. Il existe deux types de for\u00eats tropicales : les for\u00eats tropicales et les for\u00eats temp\u00e9r\u00e9es, qui sont toutes deux expos\u00e9es \u00e0 des conditions climatiques tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes. <a href=\"https:\/\/science.nasa.gov\/kids\/earth\/mission-biomes\/biorainforest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">79 \u00e0 394 pouces de pluie par an<\/a>. Les for\u00eats temp\u00e9r\u00e9es ont <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BwKU3FVoGMk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sol riche et arbres hauts<\/a> et se trouvent autour des latitudes moyennes o\u00f9 le climat est plus froid en raison des changements saisonniers. Les for\u00eats tropicales sont chaudes et humides avec des pluies quasi constantes toute l\u2019ann\u00e9e ; bien qu\u2019elles ne couvrent que 6 % de la surface mondiale, elles sont extr\u00eamement riches en biodiversit\u00e9 et abritent <a href=\"https:\/\/rainforestfoundation.org\/our-work\/what-we-do\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La moiti\u00e9 des esp\u00e8ces v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et animales<\/a> sur la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>Les for\u00eats tropicales ne sont pas seulement un habitat pour la faune et une merveille naturelle du monde ; elles fournissent \u00e9galement de nombreuses ressources dont les humains d\u00e9pendent et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient. Chaque ann\u00e9e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unep.org\/news-and-stories\/story\/how-halting-deforestation-can-help-counter-climate-crisis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10 millions d'hectares<\/a> les for\u00eats sont d\u00e9bois\u00e9es, ce qui \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 la taille du Portugal.
