Each year we select specific global topics associated with human population issues. Research this year’s topics to find one that inspires you. Start with the provided readings below. Remember, the strongest videos don’t try to tackle an entire global topic. Possible subtopics include:
Affordable housing, urban sprawl, access to public infrastructure, environmental health issues, environmental injustices, social and cultural impacts, etc.
Aquifer depletion, water scarcity and sanitation, gender disparities, agriculture and industrial use, AI data center use, water rights, etc.
Displacement/migration, habitat destruction, food production, human health, economics and poverty, damage to infrastructure
