Making Changes in Your School

Join or start a club at your school! This can be a great way to meet people with similar interests, participate in activities related to your issue, and it can help you gain leadership experience.

Strengthen and deepen knowledge by taking classes like AP Environmental Science, AP Human Geography, Civics, and Sex Education. If your school doesn’t offer these classes learn about the power of petitions and how to collaborate with administration to get them added!

Harness Your Knowledge Into a Project

Take your issue and turn it into the focus of a project, in or outside of school. This could be a writing assignment, a speech, or even the focus of a science fair project.
